Hvar's eastern tip, with the village of Sućuraj, faces the southern end of the Makarska Riviera across a short channel, and line 632 runs across it. Jadrolinija describes the route as linking the riviera with the east side of the island in 30 minutes. By comparison, line 635 from Split needs 110 to 120 minutes to reach Stari Grad.
From 19 October to New Year's Eve, ferries leave Drvenik on weekdays at 07:30, 11:00, 13:45, 17:15, 19:00 and 22:10, and Sućuraj at 06:30, 09:30, 13:00, 15:00, 18:00 and 21:30. Fridays and Sundays add one more pair, 15:45 from Drvenik and 16:30 from Sućuraj, while Sundays and holidays begin an hour later.
Jadrolinija runs the line and AOLPP publishes the same timetable, which it labels provisional. It divides 2026 into six different periods, from the winter pattern of six or seven pairs to eleven pairs in high summer.

Small change for a car crossing
A short crossing comes with a modest fare. Out of season, a walk-on ticket is €2.40, kids aged 3–12 €1.40, and an ordinary car €13.50. Vehicles over five metres or two metres high pay €22.50, as do small campers.
Everyone in the car, driver included, buys a passenger ticket in addition to the vehicle fare. Until 27 September the summer rates applied: €4.10 for an adult and €19.70 for a car. Missing a boat only costs you the wait, because the ticket stays valid for later sailings that day.

Which Drvenik, and where to board
Drvenik ferry landing
Satnav users beware: three places in this part of Dalmatia carry the name Drvenik. This one is the mainland village in the municipality of Gradac, and the ferry leaves from its Donja Vala side. The islands of Drvenik Veli and Drvenik Mali near Trogir are served by a different ferry. The first departure from here is 07:30 on weekdays and 08:15 on Sundays and holidays.
Sućuraj, Hvar
Sućuraj sits at the eastern tip of Hvar and the day's service starts here, with the first boat at 06:30 on weekdays and 07:30 on Sundays and holidays. The ferry ties up on the waterfront, at the end of the street named Ulica Trajektna.
A short channel to Hvar's eastern tip
From Drvenik the ferry heads west across the narrow stretch of sea that separates the Makarska Riviera from Hvar, landing at Sućuraj on the island's eastern point. The printed timetable and the operator's web page agree on half an hour.
Tips for line 632
- Right Drvenik
Navigate to Drvenik near Gradac on the coast road, not to the islands of Drvenik near Trogir.
- No fixed booking
A ticket for line 632 is good for later boats too, as long as it is the same day.
- Friday and Sunday extra
Only then is there a 15:45 from Drvenik and a 16:30 from Sućuraj.
- Driving across
A car costs €13.50 out of season and the person at the wheel buys a €2.40 ticket on top.
- Last boat
22:10 from Drvenik and 21:30 from Sućuraj, except over Christmas and on New Year's Eve.
One of four Jadrolinija crossings along this coast
Heading for central or western Hvar with a car, weigh this crossing against the Stari Grad ferry out of Split, where a ticket also books you onto a particular sailing. Further south, the ferry from Ploče to Trpanj reaches the Pelješac peninsula, and further north the Makarska – Sumartin ferry crosses to eastern Brač. One company, Jadrolinija, runs all four.
At the height of summer (26 June to 30 August) the first boat left Sućuraj at 05:00 and the last left Drvenik at 22:35. What line 632 will offer in 2027 is not yet known.
Motorhome drivers should note the length bands: out of season, a camper measuring 5 to 7 m pays €28.00 and a longer one €36.30, while a small towed trailer of up to 3 m is €8.40. In the 2026 document these prices also cover New Year's Day to 28 May.
