via Hvar town, with Prigradica only in summer
One page per numbered line, written for visitors: the current sailings, what a ticket costs in euros, and which quay the boat actually leaves from — often the detail that trips people up.
Croatia's island connections are organised as numbered public lines. A state agency, AOLPP, awards each one and publishes its timetable; Jadrolinija runs most of them, and smaller companies such as Krilo Shipping Company, TP Line and Porat Ilovik run others. Three-digit numbers are usually car ferries or conventional passenger boats, while four-digit numbers starting with 9 are fast catamarans.
That difference matters more than anything else when you plan. A catamaran takes foot passengers only and tends to leave from the town waterfront; a car ferry carries vehicles and in Zadar sails from Gaženica, a port outside the city. Every page here names the quay.
Since 28 September 2026 these lines have been on their off-season timetables, which run to 31 December. The 2027 timetables had not been published when we checked, so each page says how long the current one is valid.
Each pin is a port or quay, and the dashed line joins the two ends of the same line. Tap a pin for the key facts and a link to the line's page.

Whether you can take a hire car, and how long the trip takes, depends mostly on the kind of boat. Here are the same lines sorted by what sails on them.
Only on a car ferry. The Gaženica ferry to Rava and Iž carries vehicles; the catamaran lines on this site, such as Split to Milna and Rogač, take foot passengers only.
Yes, with fewer sailings and sometimes a shorter route. The Dubrovnik catamaran to Mljet stops at Sobra from 28 September and only reaches Polače again in summer.
Yes. From Split's harbour the catamaran to Rogač and Milna links Šolta and western Brač, and from Trogir the car ferry to Drvenik Mali and Drvenik Veli leaves from the Soline quay. In the Lošinj archipelago, small passenger boats run to Susak and, from Mrtvaška, to Ilovik.
It depends on the line. The car ferry to Rava and Bršanj leaves from Gaženica, while the catamaran to Mali Iž and Veli Iž uses the quay on the old-town peninsula.
The fares on these pages are the public ones anyone pays. Islanders can get discounted tickets under conditions set by the operators and the state; those are not listed here.
Each table was read from the operator or the agency on the date shown beside it, and each page gives the date it is due to be checked again. Where two official sources disagree, the figure is left out.
