From €5.70 to Cres to €7.90 to Lošinj
Through 31 December an adult pays €5.70 from Rijeka to Cres, €7.20 to Unije or Martinšćica and €7.90 to Susak, Ilovik or Mali Lošinj; in summer Rijeka to Mali Lošinj was €11.50. Child fares (3–12) are €3.70 to Cres and €4.70 to Mali Lošinj; babies need no ticket and under-threes get a free one.
Island-to-island legs are cheaper: €2.90 from Mali Lošinj to Susak or Ilovik and €3.50 to Unije. Only foot passengers are carried, the ticket is tied to the sailing you choose, and the price is the same in both directions.

Rijeka breakwater, Cres town and Mali Lošinj waterfront
Rijeka – Riječki lukobran (harbour breakwater)
In Rijeka, Jadrolinija's office is on the Riječki lukobran, the breakwater pier of the city harbour. The counter opens 08:00 – 15:00 on weekdays only, but the ticket machine there works every day from 07:00 to 22:00, which covers the Friday and Sunday sailings at 16:00. The timetable just says "Rijeka", without a berth number, so follow the signs on the quay.
Mali Lošinj – Riva lošinjskih kapetana
Mali Lošinj is the end of the line and the catamaran spends the night there, leaving at 06:00 from Monday to Saturday. Along the way, tickets are sold by small offices that open half an hour before departure on Susak and Unije, and by the tourist office at Cons 10 in Cres town.
Out of Rijeka Bay, down Cres to the Lošinj islands
From Rijeka the catamaran crosses Rijeka Bay to Cres town, then follows the west side of Cres to Martinšćica. Beyond that it heads into the open Kvarner to Unije and Susak, west of Lošinj, and via Ilovik, south of Lošinj, into Mali Lošinj. Which of these it calls at depends on the day. Neither AOLPP nor Jadrolinija publishes distances.

- Check the weekday
Susak is served Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday; Ilovik only Monday and Friday; on Tuesdays the only stop is Cres.
- Arriving by air or rail
The early-afternoon departure from Rijeka leaves time to get to the harbour after a morning arrival. On Fridays and Sundays it waits until 16:00.
- Tickets
Tickets are for a specific sailing. The machine on the Rijeka breakwater sells them daily from 07:00 to 22:00.
- No cars
No vehicles on board. Cars get to Cres and Lošinj by ferry, e.g. Brestova – Porozina from Istria.
- If a sailing is cancelled
According to a note in the timetable, when a sailing is cancelled the following morning's run to Rijeka adds stops at Susak and Unije.
Jadrolinija sails 9308 under contract to AOLPP, the state's coastal transport agency. The Lošinj islands also have local boats that fill the gaps on days the catamaran does not call: line 310 loops from Mali Lošinj to Unije, Srakane and Susak, and line 311 links Ilovik with Mrtvaška on Lošinj.
Drivers have to look elsewhere: vehicles cross to Cres from Istria on the Brestova – Porozina car ferry, and you continue down the island by road. Line 9308 is above all a link for foot passengers, island residents and travellers arriving in Rijeka by train, coach or plane.

Does the catamaran ever call at Ilovik?
Only on Mondays and Fridays. The Monday 14:30 from Rijeka reaches Ilovik at 18:20; the Friday 16:00 gets there at 19:35.
Is Cres cheaper to reach than Lošinj?
Yes. For the rest of 2026 an adult pays €5.70 from Rijeka to Cres town and €7.90 to Mali Lošinj; the child fare to Cres (ages 3–12) is €3.70.
Is there room for a car?
No; 9308 has no car deck. For a car you need a ferry, such as Brestova – Porozina for Cres.
Can I do Rijeka – Cres and back in a day?
Not starting from Rijeka: you land on Cres mid-afternoon and the first boat back sails the following morning. From Cres it works the other way round, with a morning in Rijeka.
