Prizna – Žigljen ferry (line 335): fifteen minutes to Pag, twelve times a day in winter

In July and August this little ferry to Pag ran almost round the clock, from 04:00 until after midnight. Off-season it settles into twelve crossings a day, the first from Prizna at 05:45 and the last at 21:15, still taking just 15 minutes, with an adult fare of €2.50.

On line 335 you can read the seasons straight off the timetable. In high summer, 3 July to 30 August, 21 ferries a day left Prizna, the first at 04:00, and there was even a 00:01 departure from Žigljen. Jadrolinija adds that extra unscheduled sailings are common in summer because of the crowds heading for Novalja.

Off-season, from 28 September to New Year's Eve, twelve boats a day cross in each direction from Monday to Saturday. Ferries leave Prizna at 05:45 and then from 07:10 to 21:15, and leave Žigljen from 06:00 to 21:30. The first pair is dropped on Sundays and public holidays, so the mainland side starts with the 07:10.

Whatever the month, the crossing takes a quarter of an hour. The cheaper off-season tariff replaced the summer one on 28 September.

Two euros fifty since the end of September

Autumn brings lower prices as well as fewer boats. Since 28 September an adult has paid €2.50, a child aged 3–12 €1.20 and an ordinary car €12.20, against €4.30 and €18.10 under the summer rates in force until 27 September.

Long or high vehicles and compact campers are €19.60, motorbikes €4.60 and bicycles €2.40. The vehicle fare covers only the vehicle, so the driver needs a passenger ticket too. Tax is included, and a ticket stays good for later boats the same day.

Pag, Novalja and the island's other links

Both landings are in Lika-Senj County: Prizna belongs to the town of Senj and Žigljen to Novalja. At Lun, on Pag's northern tip, passenger boats rather than car ferries call, among them the little Maslina from Rab and, in summer only, the line 323 catamaran from Crikvenica via Baška and Lopar.

In the shoulder season, from 29 May to 2 July and again from the last day of August until 27 September, fifteen ferries a day left Prizna. Next year's sailings on line 335 have not been announced.

Caravans and trailers are charged by length. Right now a trailer shorter than 3 m is €7.50, a 5–7 m camper €23.20 and anything longer €29.80; the summer equivalents were €12.40, €31.30 and €39.40. If you are planning a spring trip to Pag, the 2026 price list keeps these lower prices from 1 January to 28 May as well.
